Lensflair Group will be selling prints and greetings cards at Dore and Totley United Reformed Church’s charity fundraising Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday 9 December, 10am to 12 noon. Totley Brook Road, Sheffield S17 3QS.
For one day only we’ll be offering a small selection of our A3 prints at big discounts.
Framed prints, usually £65, will be £40. Mounted prints, usually £40, will be just £20.
We’ll be displaying the entire range of our Peak Collection limited edition art cards, with no less than thirty designs to choose from, all featuring our high quality Peak District images. Prices will be £2.20 each, three for £6 and, a one day special offer of six for just £10.We’ll also have a few packs of discontinued card designs to clear at bargain prices – first come, first served.
A percentage of all proceeds will go to the Church’s charity of the year, Sheffield Carers Centre.

We've been a bit quiet on the blog front this year, but now we have two news items to report.
Firstly, Castleton Visitor Centre (Buxton Road, Castleton, S33 8WP) reopens on Monday 3 July after a major remodelling, and they'll now be selling not only our greetings cards but also a selection of our framed and mounted Peak Collection prints. The new retail area at the centre is a huge improvement, and they now have a cafe too. So if you're in the area do check it out.
Secondly, we've added around 30 new images to our website and made some changes to the homepage, so please do have a look around and, if you feel moved to, tell us what you think via the Guestbook or comments on individual images.
We’ve given our website its biggest ever facelift this month.
We're pleased to announce that our exhibition, Lensflair: The Peak Collection, at Castleton Visitor Centre, which was due to close this Saturday, has now been extended until the end of May.
On sale are framed prints of Peak District subjects, a large canvas print of Higger Tor in winter, around 30 different mounted A3 prints and our full range of greetings cards. The exhibition has attracted a lot of attention and numerous purchases, but there are still plenty of images to choose from. So if you haven't managed to get there yet, now's your chance!
The Visitor Centre, Buxton Rd, Castleton S33 8WP, is open 10am to 5pm daily.

Our first framed print sold within three hours of opening yesterday afternoon, so if you do fancy taking a look it might be a good idea to go along sooner rather than later. The Visitor Centre, Buxton Rd, Castleton S33 8WP, is open 10am to 5pm daily.
We're always on the lookout for new venues for future exhibitions in the Sheffield, North Derbyshire and Peak District region, so that members of the public can view and have the opportunity to own our images. We'd welcome any new suggestions.
Finally, just a reminder that our full Peak Collection art greetings cards range is also in sale at Totley Library, 205 Baslow Road, S17 4DT. The library is open Mondays 10am to 7pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am to 5pm, Saturdays 10am to 1pm.
We're very pleased to announce that throughout April we'll be exhibiting a new collection of our work at Castleton Visitor Centre. All the images are of Peak District subjects, newly selected and prepared especially for the exhibition.
It's our biggest show yet, at a destination that's particularly popular with tourists.
On sale will be framed A3 prints, mounted prints ready for framing and the full range of our new Peak Collection limited edition greetings cards. Framed prints are priced at £65, mounted prints at £40.

In December last year we published our first set of limited edition art cards. The've turned out to be popular, so now we've launched a second set of 25 new designs, focusing on the Peak District – Lensflair: The Peak Collection.
You can't buy them in the shops but they're on sale at Totley Library, 205 Baslow Rd, Sheffield S17 4DT. As you may know, the library is now run by volunteers, and profits from sales of our cards go towards its running costs.
Throughout April they'll also be on sale at our exhibition of framed and mounted Peak District prints at Castleton Visitor Centre, Buxton Rd, Hope Valley S33 8WP.
If you know one of our group you can buy the cards direct via them.
We don't sell online, but we'll make our cards available from other local community outlets in future if we have the opportunity.
The cards are 7"x5", blank inside for your own message, and come packed with matching envelopes. They're printed for us to a high standard by a specialist art printer, on high quality eco-friendly card from sustainable sources.
The price is considerably less than you might expect to pay for equivalent quality commercially-produced cards – £2.20 per card or three for £6.

Lensflair Group is now displaying a selection of framed photographic prints for sale in the Sheffield Showcase shop window on the corner of Pinstone Street and Cambridge Street, Sheffield (purple pin on the map below).
We aren't allowed to display prices in the window, but all the larger (520 x 420mm) framed A3 prints are £55.00 each, and smaller A4 prints are £40.00. They can be purchased from the Sheffield Showcase office on the opposite corner of Cambridge Street. Opening hours are 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
Individually printed on high quality specialist paper and mounted in attractive light oak effect or black frames, most of the images have Peak District or Sheffield subjects and several are new.
The display runs from today until at least 15 December, but as each print is unique, once it's gone it's gone! Subjects on show are:

Our extended Sheffield Showcase window display in Sheffield city centre has finally come to an end. The next public opportunities to see and buy Lensflair Group prints will be this autumn.
On the morning of Saturday 17 October some of our group will be at our stall in Dore and Totley United Reformed Church's Autumn Fair (Totley Brook Road). We'll have a range of framed and mounted prints on show, and a proportion of the proceeds will go to charity.
Then from mid-November we'll be mounting another Sheffield Showcase window display on the corner of Pinstone Street and Cambridge Street. It will feature framed prints of mainly Peak District and other local images, all of them for sale – a great source of unique Christmas presents!

Our biggest-yet Sheffield Showcase window display is now on show in the city centre on Cambridge Street (between Pinstone Street and John Lewis) until the end of April. UPDATE – display dates now extended until at least 6 May.
Twenty A3 prints feature and all are for sale. Individually printed on high quality specialist paper and mounted in attractive light oak effect frames, most of them have Peak District or Sheffield subjects. The external dimensions of the frames are 520 x 420mm.
The terms and conditions of the display don't allow us to display prices in the window, but the prints are £55 each. They can be purchased from the Sheffield Showcase office at the junction of Cambridge Street and Pinstone Street (open 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays).
In week beginning 6 April (the week after Easter) we'll be launching our second Lensflair Group Sheffield Showcase window display. A new selection of images featuring Peak District and Sheffield subjects will be on show in the Sheffield Showcase office shop window at the junction of Pinstone Street and Cambridge Street. The purple pin in the map below marks the location.
We're busy selecting the content and preparing the prints right now. The A3 size photographs – individually printed on high quality specialist paper and mounted in attractive light oak effect frames – will be on sale from the Sheffield Showcase office. Because of the conditions attached to the display we're not allowed to show prices in the shop window itself; but all prints will be £55 each.
The display will continue until the end of April.

The Lensflair Group December–January Sheffield Showcase display has come to an end, but we'll be exhibiting a new selection of framed prints in a Sheffield Showcase shop window from 6 to 27 April. The display will be at the junction of Pinstone Street and Cambridge Street in the city centre (purple pin on the map), and prints will be again for sale from the Sheffield Showcase office.
Looking a lot further ahead, we're very pleased to have been offered the opportunity to exhibit Peak District images at Castleton Visitor Information Centre in April 2016. More about that nearer the time.
As from 2 January 2015 our city centre exhibition has moved from the window of the Sheffield Showcase office shop to a couple of shop units further up Cambridge Street (towards John Lewis). A different selection of images is now on display, still for sale from the Sheffield Showcase shop.
We're always on the lookout for opportunities for the public to see and buy our work. Right now, until January 2015, we have a display of framed prints for sale in the Sheffield Showcase shop's window and interior, on the junction of Pinstone Street and Cambridge Street in Sheffield city centre.
In autumn 2014 we exhibited at a charity fundraising event at Dore and Totley United Reformed Church, and at the annual exhibition of Sheffield Floral Club.
